What are some activities LULAC, as a high school club, can do?

most of our local councils are high school sponsor clubs & members are students from 8th-12th grade.
All the activities you see in this blog are activities you can do.
From local community services, seminars in different parts of the country, to national conventions. This year our convention will be held in Disney World.

Historically, LULAC has focused heavily on education, civil rights, and employment for Hispanics. LULAC councils provide more than a million dollars in scholarships to Hispanic students each year, conduct citizenship and voter registration drives, develop low income housing units, conduct youth leadership training programs, and seek to empower the Hispanic community at the local, state and national level.

As Youth we focus on becoming better leaders in our community to deliver the best of us to this country & our families. It is through LULAC that we have opportunities that many don't have. We help the community throughout the year with several community events, we fundraise to get to our leadership seminars and conventions, but most importantly, we generate connections around the nation and friends.
